What Is the Minimum Trade Duration for Funded Accounts?

Written by Fundex Plus

At Fundex Plus, the minimum trade duration for both evaluation and funded accounts is 5 minutes per trade.

For a trading day to be considered valid, at least one position must remain open for a minimum of 5 minutes before being closed.

This rule is designed to ensure that trading activity reflects genuine market participation and professional trade execution, while discouraging high-frequency or exploitative trading practices.

Why Do We Have a Minimum Trade Duration?

The minimum trade duration requirement helps ensure that traders:

  • Execute trades thoughtfully and strategically

  • Demonstrate genuine market decision-making

  • Follow professional trading standards

  • Avoid high-frequency or system-exploitation strategies

Fundex Plus is committed to maintaining a fair and realistic trading environment that rewards skill, discipline, and consistency.

Important Notes

  • The minimum trade duration is 5 minutes.

  • The rule applies to both evaluation and funded accounts.

  • For a trading day to count toward minimum trading day requirements, at least one trade must remain open for 5 minutes or longer.

  • Trades closed before the minimum duration may not be considered valid for evaluation purposes.

Failure to comply with this requirement may result in the trading day being deemed invalid or the account being subject to further review.

At Fundex Plus, we believe successful traders demonstrate patience, discipline, and professional execution—not just profitability. 🚀
