Is News Trading Allowed?

At Fundex Plus, news trading is permitted during the evaluation phase, allowing traders to demonstrate their ability to navigate volatile market conditions.

Traders may open, modify, and close positions during high-impact economic news events while participating in either the One-Step or Two-Step Evaluation Programs.


📊 During the Evaluation Phase

✅ News trading is allowed.

You may trade during major economic announcements without restrictions while completing your evaluation.


🚫 During the Funded Phase

News trading is not permitted on funded accounts during High Impact ("Red Folder") economic events.

This restriction applies to all economic releases classified as High Impact by recognized economic calendars, including:

  • ForexFactory

  • Investing.com

Restricted Window

Traders may not:

  • Open new positions within 3 minutes before a high-impact news release.

  • Open new positions within 3 minutes after a high-impact news release.

Positions opened before the restricted window may remain open through the news event.


Important Notice

Violating the funded account news trading policy may result in:

  • Trade invalidation

  • Profit removal

  • Payout denial

  • Account termination
