Minimum Trade Duration Rule

Written by Fundex Plus

At Fundex Plus, all trades placed on One-Step Funded Accounts (Pay Later Model) must remain open for a minimum duration of 5 minutes to be considered valid.

This rule is designed to promote fair trading practices, discourage gambling behavior, and ensure traders operate with a structured and professional approach to the markets.

Fundex Plus does not permit trading styles focused solely on entering and exiting positions within seconds or extremely short timeframes to exploit rapid price fluctuations, news spikes, or abnormal market conditions.

How the Rule Works

To comply with the Minimum Trade Duration Rule:

  • Every executed trade must remain open for at least 5 minutes.

  • Trades closed before the minimum duration requirement may be considered invalid for payout eligibility and performance evaluation purposes.

  • The rule applies to all instruments and market conditions.

Example

If a position is opened at:

10:00:00 AM EST

The position must remain open until at least:

10:05:00 AM EST

for the trade to be considered valid under the Fundex Plus One-Step Funded Account rules.

Any trade closed before the required minimum duration may be excluded from payout calculations or flagged for compliance review.

Important Notes

This rule applies exclusively to the One-Step Funded Account (Pay Later Model).

Trading strategies that rely primarily on:

  • Ultra-fast execution

  • News spike exploitation

  • Tick scalping

  • Extremely short-term speculation

may be considered inconsistent with the professional risk management standards expected at Fundex Plus.

Repeated violations of the Minimum Trade Duration Rule may result in:

  • Account review

  • Profit adjustment

  • Payout denial

  • Compliance action

  • Funded account termination

At Fundex Plus, our objective is to reward disciplined traders who demonstrate consistency, patience, and professional execution—not short-term speculative behavior. 🚀
